Æge attended the Clean Energy UK Conference 2025

In the beginning of November Æge Energy UK & Ireland attended the Clean Energy UKConference 2025 hosted by The Sustainability Community in partnership with Net Zero North East England.
Adanna Ugo-Okoye, one of our Grid Connections Engineer, was invited by Youth STEM 2030 to join the panel discussion “Offshore Wind 2.0: Supercharging the North East’sRole in the Global Wind Economy”.
The discussion focused on Offshore Wind in the North East and what it takes to deliver projects at the scale the industry targets. Adanna shared her knowledge on grid connection delays which is one of the biggest challenges the industry face and how efficient grid connection processes can help drive the next phase of offshore wind growth. She also emphasised the critical need to grow and support local workforce. The panel had great discussions on how the to drive offshore wind deployment forward.
